RAILWAY ROBBERY
DETECTIVES SUSPICIOUS TRAIN CREW QUESTIONED SYDNEY, Apia 10. Detectives inquiring into the Mudgee train hold-up formed certain conclusions as a result of which they closely questioned the train crew upon these aspects. They cannot understand why „ immediately after the bandits leaped from the train the emergency brake was not applied, and, further, how the • robbers were not injured jumping from a train travelling at at least 28 miles per hour. Investigations are proceeding. The police have engaged a black tracker at the scene of the hold-up.
