MOTORIST EXONERATED
LITTLE CHILD'S DEATH

Returning a verdict that Robert Bruce Mcßae, 4.}, succumbed from a fractured skull received as a result of being struck on Monday by a car driven by Laurence Milton Julian, a motor service driver, the coroner, at the inquest, said the evidence indicated that the driver did all that was possible to avoid an accident, which was caused by the inadvertence of the child.
The accident occurred at 5 o'clock in a street, in Opunake. The child, who was on the side of the roadway with his brothers, ran across just as the car approached'. He died in hospital te same evening without'having regained consciousness.
