WORK FOR 50 MEN
DUNEDIN UNEMPLOYED (Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. The Hon. W. B. Tavemer stated that he had received from the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. E. A. Ransom, a telegram stating that he had received an interim report from the officer of the department who is investigating the unemployment position in Dunedin, and as a result had instructed the officer before he leaves Dunedin to place 50 additional men on the present relief works there; Mr. Ransom had added that the matter would be further gone into on receipt of the officer's full report.
