GRAF ZEPPELIN
NO NORTH POLE TRIP IMPOSSIBLE TO INSURE CREW (Received Fob. 1, 11 a.m.) BERNE, Jan. 31. Dr. Ecknor has finally abandoned the Graf Zeppelin’s proposed tour to the North Pole because it is impossible to insure the crew, but states that a German-Ameriean Aerial Navigation Co. is being formed in March which will build airships to make the trip to America in three days.
