Information obtained from the Norwegian legation discloses that the Norvegia, previously explored the Antarctic aim south "of Capetown from Westabour to 140 degrees west, discovering only one new island in the region of Graham Land. I'liere we.i a no suitable harbors, and nothing useful to Norwegian whaling enterprises. Owing to the iinsuitability of Bouvet Island, in which there is no harbor, it Was necessary to seek new land suitable for whaling activities. A MESSAGE CORRECTED NEWLY-FOUND TERRITORY (Received Des. 31, 2 p.m.) OSLO, Dec. 30. A repetition of the original message from Captain Larsen discloses a mistake, in wireless transmission. The new land discovered is a strip 100 kilometres between Enderby Land and Kemp Land. Part of the land appeared to be mountainous.
