REFUGEES FROM RUSSIA
ARRIVAL IN GERMANY FUTURE UNDECIDED BERLIN, Dec. 2. The first party of peasants’permitted to leave Russia, 'consisting <rf 244 adults and 187 children, have arrived at Sydtkuhnen, Prussia. Two other detachments totalling 900 are due by tomorrow. The German Government is finding accommodation until their future is decided. The majority are Mennoniteg, 'but their places of origin are widely separated, ranging from Volga to Siberia, Turkestan, Caucasia, and the Crimea. It is noted that although some of the families bad settled in Russia for 150 years they speak faultless German. The majority wisli to go to Canada.
