SYDNEY CRIMES

Edward ftesch and Lebbeus Hordern were selected for destruction. Both were connected with fuses running across the road. Sticks of gelignite were found in drain pipes leading to both homes. One explosion brought down the rear wall of Mr. Reach's home, and wrecked 10 windows in Mr. Hordern's home opposite. The noise alarmed residents a quarter of a mile away. A man munled up in an overcoat was seen leaving the vicinity. No reason can be assigned for the crime. Detectives are now investigating.
