EXHUMATION OF NUN

BODY FRESH AFTER 37 YEARS BRUSSELS, Feb. 7. A most extraordinary event has profoundly moved the population of Tilleur, a small commune in the province of Liege. The occasion was the exhumation of the body of a nun, Sister Jeanao Castanet, who died thirty-seven years ago. Much to the surprise of everybody present, the body was found to bo intact, as though the nun had only just died, while, equally surprising, her habit and. koronal were in a perfect state of preservation. Sister Jeanne Castanet, who was of French origin, had shown remarkable devotion during tho epidemic of cholera which ravaged Liege in 1851. She was appointed superior of the Sisters of Charity, and died in 1891.
