METROPOLITAN MEETING INCREASE IN INVESTMENTS (Per Press Association.) OHRISTCHimCH, last night. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's autumn meeting opened on Saturday. The weather was fine, but there were'sjighl showers before the last two races. The attendance was good and the track 'fast. The totalisatov investments were £45,450, as against £40,724 last year.
