There was a fair attendance at the, Stortford Lodge (Hawke's Bay) sale on Wednesday, when few cattle were yarded. There were only a few pons ot prime bullocks, and these realised from £l2 13s to £l3. Ten store cows and heifers realised £5 10s, and a' lot of vealers were sent in, but the quality was not inductive to good prices, 15 realising £2 7« per head. A good milk cow was sold at £B. There were 6COD sheep yarded. Fat wethers brought 26s 7d to 28s Id. Fat ewes realised 19s 2d to 21s 6d, and lambs. 21s 6d to 23s 9d. In

the stores, 2-th wethers brought 29s 9d, and a line of 4-th wethers realised a similar price. A line of 321 6-year-old ewes brought 17s Id.
