THE ANNUAL MEETING!

"Since the founding of the institution in 1808 we have put through 1038 children," slated Mrs. Agnes Scott at the annual .meeting of the Cook County Women's Guild yesterday afternoon. Continuing, Mrs. Scott said children from the Creche had been adopted by good families, while during the last two years nine children who were admitted in infancy and who were now earning their own living, had been discharged. At present there were 40 children in the home, six being under school ago. Four had been admitted and four discharged during the month.

Edie, F. Collin, Fisken and Ludwig, and other friends. The financial statement showed a surplus of revenue over expenditure of E 126 0s sd. The expenses included . Salaries, £221 9s; rations £lB7 0s 9d : clothing, etc., £2OO 17s 8cl; furniture and crockery. £SB 9s; and coal 'and wood, £3B 18s. The lees totalled £834 15s 6d, and the contributions £159 6s lid. The balance sheet showed no liabilities and assets of £2635 9s od which includes the building valued at £2225 lis 7d.
