OCCUPIER OF GAMING HOUSE FINED
(Per Press Association.) ' ASHBURTON, this day. At (he Police Court, Timothy Kissane was charged, as the outcome of a police raid on June 3, that being the occupier of certain premises he did Knowingly and wilfully permit Basil Mullet- to use the premises as a common gaming house. Accused pleaded guilty and was fined £25, half the amount to be paid in a fortnight and the remainder in a month. Muller was fined £SO at the previous sitting for assisting in the conduct of the house.
