SHOT IN EYE BY AIRGUN

A painful accident occurred in Whakataue yesterday to Charlie Bryenton, a son of Air E, W. Bryenton, of Taneatua. The hoy had been spending a holiday in Whakntarie with friends, and with other ho\s was engaged in shooting at a target with an aii'gun. He accidentally came in the line of fire and received a pellet in the eve. He was treated hy Dr. Appleby, who ordered the lad's removal to Auckland for further X-ray treatment.
