SUNKEN SUBMARINE
DIVERS TOIL IN MUD MELBOURNE, Nov. 25. Still many feet deep in the mud, the submarine J 4 is defying the efforts of the contractors, Albert and Son, of Sydney, who for many weeks past have been trying to raise the vessel from the. bottom of the sea at the dock pier at Williamstown.' The divers have to work in mud, and' trouble is being experienced with many outlet and inlet openings used for flooding the submarine. The Ji was accidentally sunk at the pier about, two years ago.
