Our offering totalled 3.000 bales, chiefly cross-bred, many lines of attractive style and light condition being 'included. The offering was generally sound, though some of the finer hoggets were tender. The clips offered represented all the wool-growing districts. The buyers were augmented by fresh arrivals since last sale, and bidding was keen and increasingly general. Bradford and Continental buyers were active, France, particularly, in super pieces, competing keenly with local mills. Seedy pieces were'taken by local scourers and Germany at lower levels than clean wools. "Compared with the November market, prices were Jd up on average wools, from.-Jd to Id better for super sorts; clean pieces and bellies were about Id better, and low and average j were with the November range.
