WILLIAMS BEATS THOMPSON. (Elcc. Tel. Copyright—United Press Aesn.) SYDNEY, Nov. 7. At the Stadium Sunny Jim Williams defeated George Thompson, heavyweight champion of Australia, on a technical knockout in the seventh round. Thompson was so severely punished about, the i'aco that he was unable to see and was compelled to discontinue. It was a strenuous contest, both men bring fairly equal on points.
