BUT FLOATS OFF AGAIN MISHAP TO OMANA (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Secretary-General of the Post Office has received the following advice to-day from the superintendent of the Auckland radio station; “6 a.m.: Captain Hamhiond, manager of the Normcm Steamship Co. reports that the Harbor Board lias received advice from Tiri lighthouse-that the small coastal steamer Omana- is ashore on the north-west end of Tiri Island. The vessel carries no wireless, but the Clansman is standing by. The Oniaiut is not leaking. A small steamer is being despatched with towing gear immediately. ___ I have requested the Clansnaan to keep watch continuously for the time being.” Further advice received from the samo source states: ''10.25 a.m. : The follow ing has been received from the Clansman : Omana is off the rocks, and is now steaming for Auckland under her own steam.” AUCKLAND, this day.
