TWO BEALS REPORTED STEAMER FOR NEW ZEALAND (Received October 6. noon) SYDNEY, October 6. The steamer Gunhar, of 482 tons, gross, lias been sold by ihe North Coast Steam Navigation Company to Messrs, de Peliehet, Meheod anti Company, of Hastings, New Zealand. She is to be used in the New Zealand coastal trade. It. is reported that the auxiliary sefioouer, Louis Theriault, has been sold to a Brisbane firm, and is to lie engaged in trade between Fiji and Brisbane. The Gunbar, the sale of which is referred to above, is a steel steamer of 482 tons gross, 196 not; 'she lias a draught of BAi't., a length of 150 ft., and a beam of 30ft. She is a steel steamer, built at Ardrossan in 1911, and registered in Sydney in 1912. Her engines develop 89 h.p. The question as to whether Ihe purchasing firm, Messrs De l'olichel and McLeod! propose to start a service to Gisborne was referred to the local manager, Mr Cato, who, however, stated that (be purchase bad not been effected.
