FIRE ON STEAMER. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. NEW YORK, October 2. A message from Savannah states that according to a message received at the radio naval station hero the fire on the New Britain raged during the three mile race for port, but was under control a few hours after the vessel arrived at Charleston this morning, accompanied by the Seneca.
