TELEGRAPH INTERRUPTED
ACCIDENT NEAR WAIROA MOTOR-CAR STRIKES POLE Telegraphic communicat ion between Gisborne and Napier was intermptect today by a, motoring accident on the ois-borne-Wairoa road. At 8 45 o'clock this morning a motmist collided with a telegraph pole on the road side, carrying away several strands of wire An efforts was made to carry the work on the Opotiki line, but the latter proved faulty. Communication was restored at 11.30 a.m. The accident occurred about 14 miles on the Gisborne side of .Wairoa.
