BUCKINGHAM PALACE. REVIVAL. LONDON'. September 22. Queen Mary is personally supervising the preparation of the nursery for her gland-daughter, the baby Princess Elizabeth, at. Buckingham Palace. It will be the first- nursery there For 60 years, .King Edward's children were brought up at Marlborough House, and King George's children had all grown up, except Prince John, when he reached the throne. PICCADILY RESIDENCE. The Daily Mail says that the Duke and Duchess of York have decided to modernise the interior of the Piccadily residence which has been taken lor their occupation when they return from Australia, including the provision of two nurseries, which the Duchess will super vise when she returns from Scotland. The residence was formerly the home of Sir William. Bass. The rooms p tierally are not large, but the Duchess' own room, 30ft. by '2,oft., \s, the most spacious bedroom in any London house. The Duke and Duchess will occupy White Lodge, Richmond Park, until thev leave for Australia.
