The Minister lias telegraphed as follows: " I. have agreed to have a Government inquiry regarding the Gisbornet tramways. Mr. Baker, inspecting engineer, Air. Gibson, accountant, and Air. Miller, electrical engineer, will leave Wellington for Gisborne on Monday next, i would he glad if every facility could he allorded these olficers.”
