He will probably return to England about September 24 and then proceeds to Sweden. Members of the Wanganui Pigeon ('lull have recently lost valuable birds that have flown long distances, up to 500 'miles. The losses have occurred while \ training Hie birds in flights within £0 miles of Wanganui. One bird staggered to within 100yds. of its loft and then fuli dead. On examination it was sson that the bird had been shot. The feathers were covered with congealed blood. Other birds have also arrived home injured.
