LONDON. Sept, Kb Following on the Cabinet meeting Mr. Stanley .Baldwin has summoned the miners’ officials to a conference. The Morning Post says: It is understood that Cabinet endorsed the Coal Committee’s endeavor to get the disputants to accept district settlements, to be ratified by national agreement. The Daily Telegraph says: "Cabinet ’s first aim is the immediate resumption of work, while the details of the settlement, are being worked out."
The Official Labor Gazette shows that the. eoal dispute was responsible for the loss of 87,000,000 days’ work up to August 3.
