Chief Inspector A. McGill reported having inspected tlies Muliaka native block, J’utcre. Pihauui, and MaitngaLaiiiwba, and bad found the country in good order, inspector Lawson had gone over a. large portion of the districts of Ttuakituri, Oliuka, Wailn, Waikaremoana, Wiiireka, tltoi, and Cricklewood, wliicli blocks he bad found m good order, no traces of rabbits being seen. Inspector Burgess had visited ituatoki, Te Teko, Waiobau, Kopunki. Galatea, Te Wliaiti, and Whirinaki No. 4. These blocks wore very clean, although odd rabbits were caught. There were five rabbits caught at Te Teko on Mr. Reynold's property, but the country was now clean. Two gangs had started to poison the back country from Rankitaiki to the Wiaou stream, and with good weather tlie work should be finished in three weeks. The number of rabbits killed during the month was as follows: Wairoa side—Moliaka 3, Wailiua 4, i’utere 4, Wailii ], Wairoa 1; total 13. (Inlatea side —To Teko 5, Waiobau 2,. Te Hbhiti 3, (latalea. 5, sand bills, Whakatatie 2: total .17.

Tile secretary of tlie North Island '.Babbit Boards' Association wrote, forwarding a. draft of the constitution of the Association for the approval of the Board.—Members agreed that the Board had not authority to subscribe to (lie Association out of tlie Board’s funds, and also that they could sec no advantakc in joining.
