(Per P''-.« 1 AUCKLAND, this day. •In furtherance of a scheme for centralisation of Government Departments in Auckland city, Sir R. Heaton Rhodes states that Cabinet has approved of the purchase of a vacant site at the corner of Chancery street, Courthouse Lane and Hi ah street, where it is proposed to erect a four or five-storey building as soon as possible, with the State Fire and Accident offices on the ground floor and other departments on the upper floors.
