The question.of increasing the hospital levy this year" there being an expenditure excess of £BOOO, was discussed at the Hospital Board njeeting, and a motion'to raise it from £35,876 to £38,876 was lost .on the chairman’s casting vote. Mr. Knight was re-elected chairman.
