ROBBERY IN BANK
AUDACIOUS THIEF
MELBOURNE. Nov. 16.—An audacious robbery of a parcel containing cheques and rash representing a \a.uo.<)l was reported to the police this afternoon by Foletta. hosiery manufacturer, Don street, Brunswick. Miss Paul, ono of liis clerks, took tnc money to the Commercial Bank, Collins street, this morning, and placed it on the counter. Her attention was distracted to; a, few moments, and when shci turned round the oared had disappeared. It contained £4l 16s Id in cash, and tho balance consisted of cheques, of which payment has been stopped..
