A REBELLION QUELLED

The Daily Mail's Rome correspondent says that Italy won a. desert war in tho course, of a fortnight quelling n rebellion of Mahalla Arabs in Italian Libya. Severn thousand white and native troops advanced in five columns on December 15, concentrating on Beniluid, a rebel stronghold, and attacked under cover of a sandstorm. They inflicted severe losses and released a- number of slaves, including a Britisher named Trotter.
