LONDON, August 14.—When Sir Arthur Conan Doylo landed at Liverpool to-day on his return from a visit to America ho declared that ho was more convinced than over that spiritualitm was the greatest thing in the world. I Sir Arthur told an interviewer that spiritualism was'sweeping America from end to end. He denied a statement attributed to him by the New York press that it would bo possible, in three days’ time to communicate with the late President Harding. / What he had said was that three days were required after death as a period of rest to enable the soul to prepare for its new experience. Referring to mediums, Sir Arthur said that they needed a system to separato faked from genuine mediums. He suggested that tho churches might be given power to issue certificates, which could bo renewable if the holder proved his bona-fides.
