REVIVAL OF KING'S' PRIZE

Lordl Haig, as president of the Rifle -Association, has induced 1 the King to revive the King's Medal at Bisley in July for tho besfi shot in the army, which Queen Victoria instituted' in 1869, but it was discontinued' as the army was distributed l over the world. Lord Haig proposes' six medals annually for the Home, Indian, Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, and South African armies. Ho proposes that bottle firing conditions, to be devised by the General Staff. The British competition will he limited to one hundred, half representing the army and half the territorials.
