THE PICTURE HOUSES.

EVERYBODY'S: Two big dramatic features head tho new programme at Everybody's. Dustin, who has achieved notable successes on the speaking stage, had the. chief role in "The Primal Law," a thrilling story of the West, but quite different froni the usual run of such productions. A villain uses every device to secure a- property of two partners, and following the 'failure of a raid, when one partner was killed, the villain secures a large measure of success by playing the part of a false friend. To the" hero is left the care of the dead partner's small boy, who has a big place in the picture with his clever stunts on' his little pony. To get the boy away from the vicinity of the mother, who had deserted him as a baby, the hero agrees to sell the ranch and later on to form a company, but he gets wise to the plotters in time to foil their schemes, and there is a most exciting encounter before the bad men get their deserts and the romance terminates happily. "Courage" is a stirring story of love and devotion and the trials of a man wrongly imprisoned. Naomi Childers as. the heroine and Sam Do Grasse as the hero acted their parts with splendid effect. The hero is a genius whose inventions have made the success of a, Scotch steel mill. He is badly treated and discharged, but, the man' who wronged him was about to make amends when lie was murdered, and the hero is convicted. His wile continues tho husband's steel works, tho man inventing in prison and smugfling. tho formulas out to big wife. Matters are arriving at a climax, when a confession secures the innocent man's release. The programme also comprises a. lamrhable comedy "Dry Cleaning," the Fox News, and other subjects.

PALACE THEATRE. The success achieved by the present big programme at the Pa-lad? Theatre should attract another ,large audience to-night. ''Jenny Be,Good," with Mary Miles Minter in the leading role, is one of the most, fascinating dramatic, photo plays of the season, and never loses its positive grip on the spectators' attention. It is the story of the. early marriage of two'young people, and the annulment of the marriage by the parents of the young husband, with tragic results. While the play is deeply emotional in /many places there is a vein of delightful humor. "After Midnight," is a vivid melodrama of New York society, and of the underworld among the Chinese in New York. Two brothers resemble one another so closely that it is . almost impossible to tell one from the other. The married one is rich and addicted to opium and other vices A scheme is formed by which the., single brother will take the married brother's place, for a few da vs., obtain a large number of expensive bonds, and so become wealthy. The exchange of the two men takes place without a hitch, and things promise well; but in. their calculations, the schemers left the love ..equation out of their reckoning. How this complicates matters and causes a man to enter the Chinese underworld, single-handed, to prevent the schemers from 'detaining the woman he loves, makes a play that is exceedingly thrilling. Conway Tearle, and Zona. Keefe play tho leading rolos with plenty of dash and artistry. The comic section of the bill is in the hands of Mack Sennett's laugh rioters. The Topical Gazettes, and the Travelogue, and the educational films on the programme are packed with delightful entertainment The programme tonight begins at 7.-30
