SHOOTING UP IN VIRGINIA.

Seven detectives, three miners, one agitator, and the mayor were killed m a revolver fight at Matewan, West Virginia. Trouble arose over the attempted ejection from their homes of striking miners' families by detectives. The shooting became general. The situation quietened early m the night.
