BRITISH ADVANCE TO BAPAUME.
(United Service.) (Received March 1, 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, February 28. Some of the French experts anticipate strong German resistance m West Baupaume; others exjieet a retirement to the Arras- Oamhrai lino after a delaying battle on the Banpaurae section. Le Matin states that the enemy has established a long new line on the hills west and south-west of Raupaume. They blew up a number of. heavy guns during their retreat.
