ECONOMIC BLOW AT THE ENEMY.
LONDON, Jam. 22. In the House 0 Commons, replying to Mi- W. A. tA. flfewins (chairman of the Unionists' Committee), Mr 'Bonar Law (<ST*tretary'of State for the Colonies) said that he had informed the Dominions regarding the resolution moved by Mr Hewins on January 10, on the lines of an economio blow at the enemy, with a view to shortening the war. The Government, he added, was earnestly considering the whole subject.
