The High reports :— ' LONDON, June 22. The Germans, m retiring, stopped iii trenches south of Feintrey. Progress has continued m Alsace, we having captured the cemetery "at Metseral. The French gained possession of the railway station, and then carried the village by assault. Following a hot combat the line was pushed 500 metres beyond the outskirts of the ..village m the direction, of Meyershof. The action yielded numerous prisoners.
