BOAST OF NEW BATTLESHIPS, CRUISERS AND SUBMARINES. "/ , LONDON, June 22. A German naval officer, m a letter to people m New York, states that Germany has recently completed and commissioned a battleship of 25,600 tons and a battle-cruiser of 26,200 tons of the Derfflinger class with a speed of 28 'knots. Both these vessels carry 15---inch gun's. Two fast oruisev« are atao completed and four Dreadnoughts; A number of battle-cruisers will be completed by the end of the year and will be armed with even heavier than 15-inch guns. Twenty-four 1200-ton submarines have been constructed, since the beginnine: of the war with a surface speed of 20 knots and a submerged speed of 16 knots. They. each carry ..four torpedo tubes and two heavy quick-firers. One of these submarines was made to run fn tke Dardanelles. - Twelve ■ 800-ton submarines and 12 small submarines have also been completed and half of them are already commissioned.
