OPERA HOUSE PICTURES.
To-morrow night will witness a full change of pictures at the Opera House, including a sensational detective story, entitled "The Ace of Spades," with Nick Carter, the celebrated sleuth. Winter has won tha enmity of a gang of criminals known as the "Ace of Spades." Some of the members gain access to his room, and drug him. Before the drug takes effect he writes sufficient to give a clue to his identity. He is taken to the hospital. Two months later he walks out, cured, and resolves to track the gang. What follows is thrilling and exciting. "Hunters of the Air" is an interesting bird film, showing the fierce birds of prey which are a terror to the smaller ones. Tho topical part will be shown m the third series of the "Nejv Zealand Animated News," showing all the latest .news m our own islands. Patrons should have pleasure m witnessing this programme. ■
