VANCOUVER, May 28. A remarkable confession has been made by one Grange, an ex-British army man, who surrendered himself to the police here. Grange was formei'ly a sergeant m an English regiment. His story is that 29 years ago, while m London, he strangled his infant son, whose advent into the world at the time was not welcome. The wretched man declares that m his travels since he left England he has visited India and the Orient, but that wherever he went he was haunted by his dreadful crime.
