NEW AMERICAN AMBASSADOR.
LONDON, May 28. Dr Walter H. Page, who succeeds the late Mr Whitelaw Reid as United States Ambassador to Great Britain, has arrived at Queenstown. v
The Executive Council of the Federated Union held a meeting, at which it was decided to forward to President Wilson v strong protest against Dr Page's appointment as American Ambassador to England, because of his anti-Labor tendencies.
