MISHAP TO BOILER.

AUCKLAND, last night. A nautical inquiry is proceeding concerning a mishap to one of the boilers on the steamer Wakatere on the voyage from Thames to Auckland, with 127 passengers, which necessitates the steamer being . laid up for six or seyen months. A new boiler is being obtained from England at a cost of about £2000.
