NORTHERN LEAGUE'S ADVANCE.
(Special to Herald.) ■ .CHMSTCHURCH, this day. The Northern Union Football Lep^ue is establishing itself m Canterbury, and is understood to have secured the Show "rounds at Addington on which to play their matches. The New South Wales touring team will include Christchurch m their itinerary. The president of the League (Mr D. W. McLean) is at present on an organising tour m the South Island. He has met with considerable , support m Christchurch, and hopes to ; y have, a similar experience m Dunedin and Invercargill. It is rumored that several very prominent Canterbury players will go over to the League.
