MR KNOX'S LIFE ENDANGERED. ' '; ! NEW ORLEANS, March 26. - Advices received from Nicaragua state that, the Nicaraguan > Government has discovered a plot for the assassination of Mr Knox, United States Secretary <rf« State, during the yeek of that Minister's visit. '•'■".. t It is announced that thirteen i bombs connected with electric wires were found on the railway over which the: train passed conveying the American envoy. A number of arrests have been made, and it is expected that about twenty .persoris will be executed. »• A Reuter telegram from Washington ■states that these reports to the effect «t)iat dynamite bombs were found on j ■tailroad over which Mr Knox's special "f/jfaiii travelled ; fron_ Corinto to Managua are flatly contradicted by official .advices to the State Department. Forty persons were arrested m Nicaragua m connection with the articles m the press advocating the use' of dynamite, but no 'dynamite was actually found, on the men m question,- ' who * were arrested' merely to keep them quiet, during Mr 'Knox's visit- : ' •-. ■ •
