The auxiliary schooner Kaeo (Captain Skinner) arrived from Auckland .and Coast ports tliis afternoon. Captain Skinnor reports : "Left Auckland on Friday, Ma<reli '27th, -and had! a fair, run as far as Wliale- Island, where we sheltered, for a day and a half on account of a strong westerly wind. All the Bay of Plenty ports were worked by Tuesday, and on Wednesday we landed cargo at Hick's Bay and Te Araroa. Worked Port Awanui on Thursday evening and Friday,, and Saturday cleared' Waipiro. Tuiparoa was worked on Sunday, and Tokomaru on Monday morning, and arrived at Tolaga. Bay that evening at dusk.' The weather was very dirty and a very heavy yea. was running, and we could hardly stand, on deak. It "was also raining hard. We lay m. Tolaga. Bay until Saturday, landing cargo when (possible. Came on to Puatae on. Saturday afternoon, and worked Pakarae yesterday, and Tureliau to-day. There whs a heavy roll at the latter two ports, and the landing-plaeeß liad to be picked very carefully." Altogether about 200 tons general cargo and 12,0GQft timber were discharged along the coast, and there are abmit 60 tons for Gisborne."

The barquentine lima sailed this afternoon for Kopu to load timber for Sydney.
