The horse was prior to the Supreme Court session m the possession of Mr G. Smith, of Gisborne, upon whose complaint the charge of horses-steal-ing was laid. The accused was acquitted and the horse returned to Mr Smith. The Wairoa resident, who purchased the horse from the young man /in question, is now proceeding, seeking the return of the horse or its value. .
