» (Special to Herald.) PALMERSTON N., this day. Kaiti had a fine time this morning beating Hawera by 38 to 15. It was the best work they have yet done. Qisborue had a bye. Whataupoko had. a grout game with Ne-wtown. They required five to tie on the last head. Eight dead heads were made with no result. This i-s the top driving of the tournament. Sidebottom and Simson did most of it. Light rain has been falling, but the weather looks like clearing.
