BUT HAS THE CROWN CONSENTED ?
(Electric Telegraph— Copyright-United PreSß Association.) Melbourne. Jan. 9. Sir Henry Wrexlmm, who is looked upon as one of the highest constitutional authorities in Australia, expresses an opinion that if the New Zealand Government has the concurrence of the representative of the Crown in the proceedings taken as to the influx of Austrian immigrants it has a perfect constitutional right to do what has been done. (Per Pkess Association.) Wellington, to-day. The Government have received advice that some one hundred Austrians are waiting in Sydney to come on to New Zealand, besides a number more on the way out.
