A " Lied" Hotel Case
Auckland, to-day. Mr Justice OonoHy delivered judgment yesterday in the case of Ehrenfreid and Co. v. Gleeson, in which tho former asked to have accounts taken with respect to beer purchased for the Albion Hotel, one of five hotels for the privilege of supplying which with colonial beer, &c, Mr Ehrenfreid paid L 2.000. His Honor gave judgment for plaintiff for a decree showing the quantity of colonial beer not purchased by defendant from plaintiff and usad at the Albion Hotel since 6th August, 1888 ; for a return of tho profit thereon at the rate of LI 6s 6d per hogshead ; for the payment to plaintiff of the amounts of such profits, and for injunction in respect of future transactions ; costs on the lowest scale.
