«t The annual meeting was held last night at the Albion Club Hotel, the following members being present — Messrs J. Nishet, W. Nisbet, W. Walters, J. Walters, A. Sawyer, J. Adeane, W. Marshall, (). Sandlant, T. Leslie, G. Richardson, H. Warren, J. Read, and M. McKinney. Messrs W. Fraser, S. McLernon, and J. A. Harding were elected as members. The minutes of the previous meeting being confirmed, the election of officers was proceeded with and the following gentlemen chosen : — President, Capt. W. H. Tucker ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs E. P. Joyce and J. A. Harding ; Captain, Mr J. Nisbet ; Deputy, Mr A. Sawyer ; Secretary, H. Warren ; Treasurer, J. Adeane ; Committee, Messrs W. Walters, J. Walters, W. Marshall, T. Leslie, J. Read, and O. Sandlant. The balancesheet adopted showed assets LlO5, liabilities LlB os, cash in hand LlB 17s, balance to credit 12s. Messrs J. Nisbet and J. Adeane were deputed to confer with and assist the G.R.C. in connection with the opening of the season. The Committee meet on Monday next to arrange matches, allot prizes for trial fours, Married v. Single, and also for a crew to proceed to Dimedin and Wellington at Exhibition time. The members are determined to place the Club on a sound footing and have a real good season for 1889-90.
