THE DISSOLUTION.

Wellington, to-day,

Last night's PreßS, in the course of an article on the suggested early dissolution, says : — We are in a position to state with tolerable certainty that in consequence of correspondence which has been going on recently among Ministers, it has been decided to advise the Governor to dissolve Parliament before next session. Ministers will take the opportunity of addressing public meetings in various parts of the colony as to the policy it is proposed to place before the country. In the event of His Excellency declining the advice of Ministers (which is more than probable) sundry political developments of a startling nature may be looked for." [A gentleman who has just seen "Yogel at Waiwera says the Treasurer stated that the dissolution would not be till after the House met. This statement would have more weight if we did not know that all politicians are well, recent researches show that King David meant "politicians" when he wrote "all men are liars." Yogel may speak sincerely or he may speak diplomatically. If he is speaking sincerely, those who say he has sent telegrams to people to prepare for an early election must bo economical of the truth. It can hardly be very long, though, before there is ortainty in the matter. A Wellington correspondent says the Governor has expressed himself privately against granting a recess dissolution, but his Excellency is not very likely to let his opinions be known at an improper time and in an improper way.] '
